Overview: The Quiz activity allows the teacher to design and set quizzes consisting of a large variety of Question types. Quizzes with feedback may be used by students to check their understanding. Quiz construction has two phases:
- Create the Quiz Activity within the Topic or Week of the course
- Edit the Quiz to add or import Questions
Configuring Feedback in Quizzes
One of the best uses for the Moodle Quiz activity is to provide learners with an opportunity to practice with immediate feedback, on their own schedules.
Quiz Open Attempts and Forced Delay Attempts
Quizzes can be configured to allow automatic submission of open attempts when the quiz closes, saving instructors and students time and frustration.
Quiz Settings: Best Practices
Moodle offers a bewildering array of configuration settings for quizzes and quiz items. How is an instructor to know which options are best?
