What is an ePortfolio?
An ePortfolio is an electronic collection of evidence that portrays your learning journey over time. It will consist of information about yourself, your professional history and your academic achievements. GSC supports two e-Portfolio systems: Chalk and Wire for the Graduate and Undergraduate programs and Taskstream for the School of Education program.
Chalk and Wire
Chalk and Wire is an ePortfolio development and assessment system integrated into Moodle using direct links within courses. You do not need to log in to a separate system to access your ePortfolio. Once your account is activated, all you need to do is click on the links in your course and you will be taken directly to the ePortfolio assignments.
Be sure to review the orientation media for students and faculty so that you are familiar with how it works.
TaskStream (School of Education)
TaskStream offers an interactive suite of tools for creating, organizing, tracking, and sharing lessons, e-Portfolios, rubrics, assessments, and web pages.
