When e-portfolio activities are added to a course in the graduate studies program, they need to be organized and weighted according to specific guidelines.
- Set the Narrative activity to be 10%, in its own category. Do not mix the Narrative in with other activities in the gradebook.
- All other e-portfolio activities can be placed in the gradebook wherever you see fit, at whatever weight you choose.
- All orientation activities (My Profile and About Your Programmatic e-Portfolio) should be made invisible in the gradebook, and set to a weight of 0%.
- All graded e-portfolio assignments in Chalk & Wire are to be assessed within Chalk & Wire (not Moodle). When you issue a numeric grade within Chalk & Wire, it will be transferred automatically to your course's Moodle gradebook. You do not need to post a numeric grade for Chalk & Wire e-portfolio assessments in Moodle. If you have completed the assessment process but the numeric grade does not transfer, please post an IT Help ticket.
