The Moodle Questionnaire is a survey-like type of activity. It allows teachers to create a wide range of questions to get student feedback. With Questionnaire you do not test or assess the student, you gather data. The Choice activity allows teachers to ask ONE question and set up radio buttons which learners can click to make a selection from a number of possible responses. Choices can be used as a quick poll to stimulate thinking about a topic, to allow the class to vote on a direction for the course, or to gauge progress. The Survey is a course activity that provides a number of already-created verified survey instruments, including COLLES (Constructivist On-Line Learning Environment Survey) and ATTLS (Attitudes to Thinking and Learning Survey).
Questionnaires are used to collect and analyze non-graded information from students. A wide variety of question types are provided. Responses can be viewed online or downloaded, and may be made available only to the instructor or to all students.
